Topic Assignment for CGS 4854

nuts Each student should chose their topic based on the day of their birthday. That is if you were born on December 7th your topic is any one of those in the row numbered 7 below.

The project suite will cause you to develop an interactive Web Page to support an interest group in your topic. That is you will provide basic information to the group, keep a membership list, provide a bulletin board, display a catalog of items for sale, sell items to members, and arrange other activities for your members as time permits.

You should feel free to expand the area of your topic in any way that enables you to develop an interesting Web Site. Information on your site is not required to be strictly factual and of course a light hearted approach to the subject matter will be appreciated. Begin with Google and from there follow the main threads. Remember you need pictures as well as text.

You are encouraged to go beyond the strict specification of each project. Ergonomics matters in your grade for the projects. You are reminded of University policy concerning the content of material maintained on University computers and I would further ask that you include on your site only material you would want your mother to see.

The Dobermann is here so you can see how to do this stuff with style sheets! Just read both the file style.css.txt in my HTML directory and the source of this document. Dobermanns are people too.
